Lastest project - Our Shed

This past week we got the whole family involved in putting up a shed, yes we have finally arrived on Glenwood Rd. with having a shed it's a must. :) and we are able to clear out the garage a make more room for the Motorcycle and my gym. along with a play area for the kids. So its a win win. Just a few pictures to share.

Jaime has noted the more kids around the more "help" he gets from them and less from me, these past few days have been hot ones but the kids did great and got rewarded with Frostys.

Our First Family Canoe Trip

This Summer has been full of fun family adventures, we call them Terrific Tuesdays (even if they fall on another day). We've done everything from St. Augustine, The beach, Zoo, build a playground. Vacation bible school and last week we ventured out on our very first family canoe trip, with my heart pumping we loaded up the canoe and put on the life jackets to paddle our way to Shell island, we were following friends (we had no idea how long it would take or the waters of the Wekiva river) but after 2 hours of paddling with Ty, Izzy and even Adeline being so good (we saw turtles, lily pads, fish birds, and yes even alligators (heart pumping as the gator goes underwater) we finally made it to Shell island a place in the river that is clear to swim and to hunt for old Indian pottery and a rope swing. Ty tried the swing into the water and didn't let go, I did my best to make it look like a good swing, but Jaime did the super show and got high and landed with a splash. We all had a great adventure and after a snack we loaded the kids back into the canoe for our return trip with three tired kids we made our way back to the cabin and safely onto dry land. We will attempt to travel the waterways again, with a few more snacks and hats for the heads. All in all a wonderful and exhausting day.
