Christmas 2008

Ty didn't understand leaving cookies for Santa. 12:30am he sits on the floor and starts eating them. He said they are TyTy's cookies, anyway we managed to leave two for Santa and he ate them both. Santa also brought him his kickity kick ball the only thing he asked for. Jaime got the new punching gloves and Ty thought he needed to try them out. Boys will be boys! Wow wow Wubbzy was also under the tree. This by far has been then best Christmas ever and we look forward to the future ones with another little one on the way! Life is good and we are enjoying it. Merry Christmas!

Silver Springs 2008

As our new family tradition we went to Silver Springs in Ocala. Everynight they light the whole park up with lights and have the carolers singing! We had lots of fun it was very relaxing, we went on the glass bottom boat, the gondola ride (Ty likes going real high), and a jeep tour where we saw wild monkeys. Ty and Jaime fed the Giraffes; they even posed for a picture. My baby is getting so big and so much fun to be around.

Arizona part 2

Arizona Vacation

We had the opportunity to vacation in Arizona this year and what a way to see the beautiful country we live in. The most amazing thing to me is the splendor and diversity of our country's landscape. I stand in awe of our Creator and praise Him for his wonderful beauty.

We explored everything from the cactus filled mountains to the Red rocks of Sedona (on the Gamblers trail in a hummer) we hiked the Grand Canyon and even saw snow on the flagstaff mountains. We visited the Montezuma Well and Castle (built in the rock) and the Casa Grande. Went on a underground mine tour.

Ty loved the hiking and the rocks that were everywhere his new hobby is picking up rocks, he had a stash of them everywhere. We stayed at a great resort and Ty got to swim a lot and is definitely not scared of the water. We loved being together and seeing Ty explore the new surroundings.

Fun at Universal Studios

We are taking advantage of living close to the parks, we spent the afternoon at Universal studios and Islands of adventure. Ty loves the rides, he is big enough to go on the Cat in the Hat roller coaster ride. He sits and takes every ride in and almost looks like he will cry and then when it stops he smile real big and points to go again. Jaime thought we needed to go on a ride that you could get wet "One fish two fish" he drove us right into the water, Ty didn't think that was fun until we were safe back on the ground. Then over at Universal we played on the Fieval goes West playground and Curious George water play zone.

Watering the Garden

Ty's new idea of helping me water the garden is him holding the hose and you never know where it's going, usually the sidewalk gets most of the water. This time Ty got most of the water, he'll stand there forever getting wet. The flowers are still blooming I have 14 roses all on one bush so I guess he is doing a fine job.

Easter 2008

This Easter was so much fun, Ty had a blast coloring eggs at playgroup and then again with Daddy. He had been hunting eggs the whole week before Easter (he thought it was cool that they had M & M's in them he stopped each time to eat the candy. We spent Easter at Church, we had a sunrise service and then our regular service and the kids hunted eggs (Jaime had the privaledge to hide more then 300 eggs with Justin) So Ty had an advantage when hunting (for a 1 yr old) he found a lot of hard to find eggs, with Jaime's help. We had lunch at mom and dad's we had beautiful weather and where able to spend the day out on the deck. We are very thankful and grateful to be able to celebrate and remember the sacrifice of Jesus and that He loves us so much that he was willing to die for us so we could be with Him in eternity.
