2013 4th of July

It's been a tradition to celebrate the 4th of July at Grandma and Pop's Condo in New Smyrna beach and it's one tradition we all love and enjoy.

Tyler (Ty) is 6 1/2 yr old and is swimming across the pool and diving in the deep end, he enjoys building sandcastles and watching the waves wash them away. And he could live off of Chocolate and Hamburgers.

Izzy Age 4 Loves to smile, dance and swim
Adeline Age 2 1/2 isn't afraid of anything loves the waves, sandcastles and swims like a fish.

Lastest project - Our Shed

This past week we got the whole family involved in putting up a shed, yes we have finally arrived on Glenwood Rd. with having a shed it's a must. :) and we are able to clear out the garage a make more room for the Motorcycle and my gym. along with a play area for the kids. So its a win win. Just a few pictures to share.

Jaime has noted the more kids around the more "help" he gets from them and less from me, these past few days have been hot ones but the kids did great and got rewarded with Frostys.

Our First Family Canoe Trip

This Summer has been full of fun family adventures, we call them Terrific Tuesdays (even if they fall on another day). We've done everything from St. Augustine, The beach, Zoo, build a playground. Vacation bible school and last week we ventured out on our very first family canoe trip, with my heart pumping we loaded up the canoe and put on the life jackets to paddle our way to Shell island, we were following friends (we had no idea how long it would take or the waters of the Wekiva river) but after 2 hours of paddling with Ty, Izzy and even Adeline being so good (we saw turtles, lily pads, fish birds, and yes even alligators (heart pumping as the gator goes underwater) we finally made it to Shell island a place in the river that is clear to swim and to hunt for old Indian pottery and a rope swing. Ty tried the swing into the water and didn't let go, I did my best to make it look like a good swing, but Jaime did the super show and got high and landed with a splash. We all had a great adventure and after a snack we loaded the kids back into the canoe for our return trip with three tired kids we made our way back to the cabin and safely onto dry land. We will attempt to travel the waterways again, with a few more snacks and hats for the heads. All in all a wonderful and exhausting day.

Adeline Joy

On November 2nd 2010 we were blessed with a beautiful baby girl Adeline Joy 7 lbs. 7 oz.

Ty and Izzy were anxiously awaiting her arrival and once again Ty was right he knew he was going to get another sister. He has taken this "big brother" job very seriously and loves to hold Adeline on the couch and Izzy makes sure we never let her cry. We are all in love with our new little bundle of "Joy" and we thank God for His continual blessings on our family.

Life with the Bracero's

I love when we have ideas (Jaime and I) and we finally get going on making them a reality and this month we have transformed our master bedroom into a dream bedroom for us. He is an amazing a hardworking husband and just to spend all his time off working on getting this done means so much to me and to have a nursery almost ready for our new little "bubble"s is a bonus. This is our home and I am so proud to call it so it is full of love and memories are in the making everyday.

I also have gotten a second chance at continuing my school and although it is a short timeframe I believe God will give me the power and strength to get it all done both the work and financially.

The Kids are getting big Ty starter Pre-school (at home) but everynight asked "mommy can we do my school tomorrow" even on Saturdays he wants to do school, boy that will change soon enough. Isabella is into baby dolls and being "out" anywhere she lives in a make believe world sometimes it's sweet to watch her talk to her babies and feed them it starts so early the "girly" things I love them.

The pictures are the kids finger painting and Izzy is realizing it doesnt taste very good. Ty is making art for the baby's room.

We are still in the hunt for a new church that works for our family and we are excited about what God has in-store for us in we are faithful in our search.

Joy's Thoughts

It's July 26th and I'm sitting here watching how much my children have grown this year. Isabella is talking up a storm in full conversation which is a must being around Ty and me all day. She has to get her two cents in also. She just asked Ty for more cookies and then said thank you. We have had a nice calm summer with many days spent at the beach and parks. We are once again working on the house with a countdown to baby "bubbles" arrival.

I was reminded how important my role as a mother and wife were this week and how I am renewed in my role and desire to be the mother God intented me to be and He has instilled this desire to work even harder to train and raise my children to live a life that is pleasing to God and for me to always be an example of what a Godly mother and a wife should be.

Thank you Jesus for renewing me this week and placing my focus back toward You.
